Message from the President
Thanks to the advancing scope of telecommunications, we are now living in an age where we almost cannot live without items such as mobile phones and remote LAN devices. With the rapid advancement of semiconductor efficiency, the prices of personal computers have fallen while their operating speeds have greatly increased. One might even say that these technical devices that envelope our lives may give rise to new lifestyles borne of a new sense of the world today. With the aim of making individual satisfaction a reality for our clients, Digital Fashion Ltd. (DFL) began its technological development in the first month of this millennium with the needs of people at the heart of our company.
The company originally started as a member of Toyobo Research Centre Company (presently Toyobo Research Centre Company Ltd.), undergoing an incubation period in the labs of Kyoto University as we began researching virtual dressing environments before being launched as a Toyobo company affiliate in January of 2001. The company was founded with the seven members who came from these research offices. Since then we have moved our base to Osaka, increasing our production and our staff, which now numbers 25.
社長挨拶

In March of 2003 we issued new stocks and introduced a different stockholder structure, greatly strengthening the independence of our company. It was on this occasion that I, Yoshiyuki Sakaguchi, was newly instated as president of Digital Fashion Ltd.

I believe that we at DFL have three main responsibilities as an organization: providing ultimate satisfaction for our clients, securing the welfare of our employees, and maintaining profits for our stockholders.

Firstly, we must provide ultimate satisfaction for our clients. Through our Fashion On Demand, we at DFL are contributing to structural reform in the fashion industry along with working to provide new lifestyles and new senses of self for our clients.

Secondly, we have a responsibility to secure the welfare of our employees. I believe this security can be achieved by creating a stable operating base to keep our company flourishing. We can create this base by making the Magic Mirror and Fashion On Demand a reality through supplying the capital necessary to fund these business efforts.

Thirdly, we must maintain profits for our stockholders. Through the realization of IPO (Initial Public Offering), we can achieve this duty to them.

The realization of the Magic Mirror and the construction of Fashion On Demand have been the driving forces behind the founding of Digital Fashion Ltd. With you the clients at our core, we hope to use our technological development to provide concrete solutions and achieve actual results to make your dreams and individual happiness a genuine reality.
